EVENT HOSTESS AND STEWARD

Description of the job:
The hostess and the stewards are responsible for the personalised welcome and management of guests during an event. Elite Events prides itself by being one of the leading hostess agencies in Brussels by pushing the envelope in guest service.
The role of the hostess is the element that elevates the participants experience at an event and the candidates are selected based on their experience, skills and above all attention to details and passion for events.
Specific responsibilities may include:
• Welcoming of guests
• Attendance of registration desk
• Queue and waiting management
• Preparation and distribution of badges
• Dispatching guests according to their profile and introducing them to the welcome area
• Assistance in the event venue
• Assist guest and manage the flux during the events
• Wardrobe attendance
• Distribution of goodies
• Distribution of VIP prices during award events and gala dinners
• Accurately and efficiently respond to guests’ questions and concerns
• Represent brans and give out information during product launch events
• Work on booths during expos and fairs such as the Auto salon, Batibouw
• Work on different promotional events and festivals
• Assist the event manager with the set-up and dismantle of the event
• Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Proficient in English, French and/Dutch, any other language is a plus
• Increased understanding of hospitality and event management
• Higher studies preferred
• Guest relations/customer service experience preferred
• Punctuality, pro-activity, a bright smile and flexibility
